Paul Alexander Casey or Paul Casey was born 21 July 1977 in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire , now 32 years of age, has an English professional golfer who is a member of the world's top two professional golf tours, the U.S.-based PGA Tour and the European Tour. He is currently ranked #4 in the Official World Golf Rankings.

He took a golf scholarship at Arizona State University after that he turned professional in November 2000.

He was distinguished in amateur career. In U.S. he was the first man to win three consecutive Pac-10 Championships in 1998, 1999 and 2000. In 2000 he can broke the championship scoring record held by Tiger Woods (18 under par) with a 23 under par 265.

In 2004 Casey was a member of the victorious European Ryder Cup team and another highlight of his year was a sixth place finish in his first The Masters. Casey has featured in the top 10 of the Official World Golf Rankings and was the highest ranked Englishman for a time. In January 2007 he reached a career high of #13 in the rankings.

Casey earned his first PGA Tour win on 5 April 2009 at the Shell Houston Open.This win took him to #6 in the Official World Golf Rankings.

Casey won his milestone 10th event on the European Tour at the 2009 BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth Golf Club in Surrey this win vaulted Casey to a career high of #3 in the Official World Golf Ranking.
